Songwriters John and Brian Rimel are a duo based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Their eclectic repertoire features a wide variety of genres and best fall under the umbrella of Americana music.

Songs by John Rimel have been featured on seven Top 10 Billboard albums and have received several national awards, including Song of the Year. During his long career, he has toured extensively, playing venues ranging The Paramount Theater to the Grand Ole Opry. He has shared the stage with artists as diverse as Ricky Scaggs, Hall & Oates, Delbert McClinton, Conway Twitty, James Cotton, Jimmy Fortune, Earl Scruggs, and Roy Orbison.

The Rimels are equally comfortable on the concert stage and in small listening rooms - wherever original songs are welcomed. Their combination of piano and guitar affords the listener to hear the songs as they were written.
